We are a paninoteca, or authentic Italian sandwich shop, much like those found in the cities and urban areas of Italy. Our vision is inspired by the Italian tradition of simple cooking using seasonal local food. The fundamentals of Italian cooking are using the best and freshest ingredients possible with the shortest distance from the garden to the table.

We strive to keep this spirit alive by using produce from local farmers, artisanal bread made just blocks away, and when possible, house-cured meats and local cheeses. What meats and cheeses we can't make or procure locally, we import from Italy as they are so distinct and essential to Italian cuisine.

Stop by at lunch time for a panino and a cup of homemade soup, or come by after work for a glass of Italian wine, cheese and salumi plate, or one of our daily merende specials.

At Toast, we provide you with the flavors of a true Italian meal all wrapped up in a simple sandwich, salad or homemade soup.
